The Just Cauz Foundation raises money and awareness for local non-profits through social events that are aimed at Seattle's young professionals. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for young people in Seattle to give back to their community, while appreciating the time and financial constraints of those who support us.

While Just Cauz strives to highlight and support a range of non-profits, our current partners are Community for Youth and Fusion International. Both CFY and Fusion provide services to children, but the children live in very different areas of the world and have very different needs. CFY provides mentoring to at-risk high school students in the Seattle School District, and Fusion provides community services to internally displaced children of foreign countries. WHAT'S NEW
It's time to break-out those sun dresses and shades and get ready for the first Just Cauz Happy Hour of the summer season!! Ok, maybe that's a little premature given the snow we had a few weeks ago ... (although right now the weatherman says it is supposed to be 72+ next Thursday)

Regardless, the first summer Just Cauz Happy Hour will take place next Thursday, May 15th, from 5:00-8:00pm at Del Rey in Belltown. We'll likely be taking the place over, so Del Rey has graciously agreed to open up their private room for Just Cauz folks.

Donate 10 bucks and enjoy $4 happy hour plates, $2 PBRs, $3 Dos Equis Ambers and Lagers, $4 wine (cab, chardonnay and merlot), $4 wells, and $6 Carta Blanca beer (28 oz!!). Drink specials last until 7:00pm, food specials last until 8:00pm, and the $6 Carta Blancas last all night.

For those of you who missed the recap email, thank you *again* to the 450 Just Cauz supporters who raised nearly $30,000 at our 3rd Annual Casino Night & Charity Auction at Fremont Studios. Pictures from the event are still available on Flickr.
